What’s been the hardest part of this season?
“Definitely both of the losses to Northview. When we lost the first [game] by 1 it really was tough, but the second loss to them in overtime was the worst. That game put our only chance at a conference championship to rest, so that was hard.”
What’s the best part about being on the team?
“I would say just how close this team is. We love being around each other and get along really well on and off the court.”
You’re known for your celebrations, why do you do them?
“I just love bringing all of my energy to the bench and trying to impact the game in any way that I can. I love the celebrations when the entire bench gets into it; it’s awesome. It’s a rewarding feeling when it feels like the guys on the court are kind of feeding off of you.”
What’s your favorite celebration?
“My favorite celebration would have to be when we [pretend to] eat soup once someone makes a good move to the paint. We tried it once earlier in the season, and it’s stuck ever since.”
