Varsity baseball completes the sweep over Greenville
Senior Adam Tellier led the Rangers to the sweep over Greenville Wednesday night by going 3-3 with a home run and a hit-by-pitch. Adam also scored 3 runs to contribute to FHC’s 6-3 victory.
The Yellow Jackets were able to put up 3 runs in the bottom of the first for an early lead, but the Rangers plated runners in the third, fourth, and sixth innings to secure the win.
Senior Connor Palmitier was also an offensive spark, as he went 2-2 with 2 walks and 1 run scored. Sophomore Joey Wise hit .500 in this game with a double to contribute to the offense.
Senior Jacob Hornbeck and sophomore Brady Price split the pitching time on the mound for FHC. They combined to allow 3 runs on 4 hits with 5 strikeouts and 3 walks.
The Rangers move to 15-10 on the season and end with a final OK White conference record of 14-4. FHC will have a tournament this weekend before competing in the first round of Districts next Saturday.
