JV boys basketball struggled to execute against Northview
The JV Ranger basketball team lost to a tough Northview squad 48-26 Tuesday night. In the first half, sophomore Jonah Spates kept the Rangers in it with some good takes and a few triples. The Wildcats JV have been a force all year with their length and they caused havoc throughout the game. Turnovers were once again a big issue for the Rangers, and the Wildcat run and jump press became FHC’s worst enemy. With a rough start offensively, they went into the locker room down 28-9.
The second half went much better for the Rangers. They came out hot in the third quarter and outscored the Wildcats by 7. Then in the fourth quarter, they went cold again and the Wildcats pulled away. The Rangers’ next game is this Thursday against Greenville. The Rangers beat Greenville last time and look to get another one in the win column.
