Freshman volleyball continues its winning streak in 2-0 victory over FHN
Yesterday, the freshman volleyball team took on cross-town rival Forest Hills Northern. FHC had the home-court advantage and it certainly paid off as the Rangers won in the first two sets of the game.
In the first set, FHC won by a score of 25-10 and in the second set, they won 25-11. FHC had a stellar performance on the defensive side by freshman co-captain and libero, Ruthie VanSkiver. She had incredible digs throughout the entire game and this helped to set up the offense. On the offensive side, the girls had consistency in serves and hits throughout the game.
FHC has continued their undefeated streak of games, earning seven wins in a row. They’ve now obtained a conference record of 7-0. The Rangers will take on Northview next on Tuesday, October 9.
