How long have you been playing basketball?

“I have been playing basketball for about six years now.”

Why do you play basketball?

“I really enjoy my teammates and how we have a lot of chemistry on the court. I also like how we’re all really close, and it’s just a fun sport.”

Who has been the biggest inspiration in your basketball career?

“Definitely my dad because when I was younger he always wanted me to play golf and I wasn’t interested, so he got me started in basketball and took me through that.”

What is your personal goal for this season?

“Probably to become a better shooter and [I’ll do] that by putting in extra time in the gym, staying after practice, and working on my form.”

What are some team goals for this season?

“To try and go undefeated and just to get better as a team.”

What is a quote that inspires you?

“‘Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people.’ It just has a really good lesson behind it and it teaches that there are bigger things than just talking about other people.”

What is the best part about playing basketball?

“Definitely my teammates. I love coming to practice and I love the sport. Just putting in the work and knowing I have to work hard is one of my favorite things.”
