The girls JV basketball team suffered a lopsided loss to the Rockford Rams last night 53-22. Although the ladies lost, some key players this game were sophomore Ella Sloat and freshman Julia Carlson.

Ella stepped up her game in the third quarter by scoring 2 points and then scoring another 6 points in the fourth quarter. Julia also stepped up in the fourth quarter by scoring 7 points and finished the game with 12 rebounds and 1 assist. Sophomores Morghan Tilton and Audrey Sidebotham also contributed to the team, with Morghan scoring 4 points and having 1 assist and Audrey with 2 points and 1 rebound.

The girls may have lost this game but look to bounce back in the upcoming tournament on Thursday, Dec. 27 at Cornerstone University.
