Why do you play basketball?

“I grew up playing it, and I just think it’s a lot of fun. It’s so competitive, and it takes so much skill that I just love playing it.”

What has been the biggest inspiration in your basketball career?

“My biggest inspiration has probably been trying to be the best team in our conference and just trying to be the team to beat and the most feared ones in the area.”

What is your favorite basketball memory?

“Beating Rockford this year in the final of the Cornerstone Tournament was one of my favorite basketball memories. I will never forget our celebrations after the game.”

What do you think are the team’s best qualities?

“We have been playing together for a while and have good chemistry on and off the court. All 13 guys really come together to fight, and that’s what makes us a great team.”

What do you think about Coach Monroe?

“He’s a good coach, and we all really like him. He has a great assistant (Coach Ellis), and the two pair really well together and make a great coaching staff for our team.”
