Girls JV lacrosse takes home another win against Grand Rapids Christian
The Forest Hills United JV lacrosse team took home another huge win last night as they took on the mighty Grand Rapids Christian Eagles. They emerged from the game with a score of 9-2 and picked up yet another victory.
The freshman duo of Kali Coppess and Sofia Debano had a stellar performance as they went on to score a combined 4 goals on the night. Sofia’s performance on the attacking side was very helpful for the team and helped them get off to an early lead. Sofia also had an assist and used her agility very well in order to provide an outlet for her team.
Kali had a phenomenal offensive and defensive performance last night as she played on both sides of the field throughout the game. Her stat line was very impressive as she went on to have 2 goals, 2 assists, and numerous steals. Her defensive performance was the most impactful on the team, as she was able to force several turnovers that would have resulted in goals against them.
The team’s next game will take place this Thursday, April 25. They will take on Rockford at 5:30, this time at home.
