Girls JV Golf Finishes 4th on Challenging Cedar Chase Course

The JV girls golf team took on the difficult Cedar Chase course yesterday afternoon. With the elevated trees and bent grass fairways, the course offered a new challenge to the Rangers.
The Lady Rangers shot 210, tying with Greenville for 4th place. Forest Hills Northern took first place shooting a 195. Close behind, Lowell shot a 197 placing in second. Lastly, Mona Shores came in third with a 202.
Sophomores Alyssa Cheslek and Lexi Schnelker along with freshman Serena Theide led the team shooting a 52. Not far behind, sophomore Bella Beckering shot a 54. Followed by Sophomore Bella Wisley and Junior Bela Gonzalez with a 56. Also, Bela shot an eagle on par 5.
Overall, the girls had a great day taking on of the most difficult course so far in the season and still managing to shoot mostly in the lower 50s. The Rangers play on their home course next on Thursday, September 13th at Thornapple Pointe.
