Girls JV Golf takes first at the Thornapple Pointe Jamboree

Yesterday afternoon, the Girls JV golf team clinched first place on their home turf at Thornapple Pointe. As a team, all the girls played well and took advantage of the home course shooting a 201. Lowell came in second with a 205 followed in by Mona Shores shooting a 220 placing third. Lastly, in fourth place was Forest Hills Northern with a 230.
Sophomore Alyssa Cheslek led the team shooting a 49. Sophomore Bella Wisely and freshman Serena Thiede followed shooting 50. Sophomore Lexi Schnelker shot a 52 and closely behind Junior Bela Gonzalez shot a 54. Sophomore Bella Beckering shot a 56 and the six remaining girls on the squad shot in the ’60s.
The Lady Rangers play next Saturday, September 14th at the Coopersville JV Invite.
