Serena Thiede Leads Girls JV Golf to first place finish at Coopersville JV Invite

On Saturday Morning, the JV Girls Golf team clinched first place at the Coopersville JV Invite. Overall in the 18 hole tournament, freshman Serena Thiede placed first and sophomore Bella Wisely finished fourth. The Lady Rangers won by a total of 7 points, while Coopersville came in second, and Wayland placed third.
Serena Thiede had an exceptional day on the Western Green course. She led the Rangers by shooting an exquisite 96. Bella Wisely also played very well, placing second for the Rangers with a 102. Not far behind, freshman Ashley Yarnell shot a 106, followed by sophomore Alyssa Cheslek with a 109; finally, sophomore Lexi Schnelker shot 110, which helped launch the Rangers on top for a first-place finish.
Coming off back to back first-place finishes, the Lady Rangers are looking forward to their next conference match on Monday, September 16th at the Lowell Jamboree.
