What is your favorite part of being on the team?
“My favorite part of being on the team is probably being surrounded by such an amazing group of people and having so many friends on the team.”
What is your most memorable race?
“My most memorable race was when I broke 30 seconds and went a 29-second race in the 50 free.”
How do you feel the season has gone so far?
“I think that I definitely fell behind a little bit at the beginning of the season because I didn’t train as much as I should have in the off-season, but I do think that I have mostly caught up to where I was at the end of the last season.”
Any advice for new swimmers?
“I think new swimmers need to mentally prepare to practice 16.5 hours a week, have really long days, sacrifice most of their Saturdays, stay up late doing homework, get up for early morning practice, and they need to be able to push themselves to the limit to get themselves through practice and their homework before they can go to bed at night.”
