Senior Alex Souza had another career day on Monday against Forest Hills Northern, bowling a high 215 in game 2, but the boys ended up falling short again in a tough loss.
FHC came into this match after another tough loss at the hands of Cedar Springs, and the Rangers wanted to come in swinging right away against Forest Hills Northern.
“[FHN was a] super tough loss,” head coach Grant Vermeer said. “We needed all five bowlers bowling well, and that didn’t happen.”
Along with Alex, freshman Peyton Price had another career day with a high score of 214 in game 1 and a 184 in game 2. Senior Ben Kastner also bowled well in both games, bowling over a 160.
“We bowl them again next week Wednesday to finish out the season,” Vermeer said. “Hopefully we will come ready to play.”
The Rangers will bowl Greenville and FHN next week on Monday, February 17th and Wednesday, February 19th at home at Eastbrook Lanes.
