What was your favorite part about the season and why?
“My favorite part of the season is spending time with all of my teammates. Not many high school sports are coed, and it’s a great opportunity to meet a lot of people we otherwise wouldn’t. It’s a short season, but we all get along and I look forward to our events.”
How did it feel to play the role as a captain and why?
“Being captain has been great because I have had the ability to attend all races and bond with the entire team, not just my friends. The girls and boys teams are also closer than we have been in past years, and it’s really fun working together to become better racers as a single unit.”
When did you first start to ski?
“I first started skiing when I was around four with my family. My dad had grown up skiing, so he taught me how to so that I could enjoy the sport the way he does.”
What’s your favorite part of being on the team and why?
“We have a smaller team this year than in the past, so everyone has had the opportunity to get to know each other more. Most people knew each other going into the season, but if not, we have grown close and I hope to carry this dynamic onto next season.”
