Freshman volleyball secures comfortable win over Greenville to start season 2-0
After the comeback win against Forest Hills Eastern, the freshman volleyball team played its first home game against Greenville. The girls were hoping to start off the season 2-0 and 1-0 in conference play.
The girls came out in the first game and dominated, winning 25-4 with ease. Freshman Angela Yang went on a long serve run which gave the girls the majority of their points.
“We played very well together and everyone played great,” freshman Maggie Sneider said.
In the second game, Greenville gave a little bit of a better fight, but the Rangers were once again too much to handle, beating them 25-12. Overall, it was a comfortable win for the Rangers, and they were very thrilled to start the year 2-0. The girls play their next game on Thursday, September 15th against Lowell.
