Boys JV tennis beats Byron Center handily
The boys JV tennis team matched up against Byron Center in yesterday’s match. The boys managed to pull together a big win for their second to last matchup of the season. The Rangers had six points to Bryon Center’s one.
The best match against Byron Center and FHC came from freshmen Brady Miller and Alex Chen, who played 1 doubles and fought hard to beat their opponents. They started off strong but couldn’t get through their opponents in the first set, which they lost. In the second match and tiebreaker match, they worked together to find a way to win the point for FHC.
The boys hope to finish their season off strong in their final matchup at home on the 28th of September, against rival Forest Hills Northern.
