On Tuesday night, the Rangers continued their winning ways with a 57-48 victory over Wyoming.
In the first half, the Rangers played with high energy but did not rebound as well as they would have liked. Freshman Jeremy James hit a three at the end of the half to extend FHC’s lead to nine and give the Rangers momentum at the end of the half.
In the second half, Wyoming started to come back and created a close game through the third. Freshman Matthew Mahoney had an amazing block toward the end of the fourth quarter that helped the Rangers gain some energy to finish off the game with a solid lead.
Carrying the team with points was freshman Dallas Hopson scoring 18. Along his side were freshmen Jeremy James with 15 and Cam David with 10.
Looking ahead, the Rangers play East Grand Rapids on Thursday night. The boys said they are going to continue to push in practice to improve their 7-3 record and keep up the two-game winning streak they have accomplished.
