Varsity water polo ends losing streak in win over Grand Haven 12-11
On Tuesday night, the girls varsity water polo team took on Grand Haven. After having some trouble getting a grip on the season and having a losing streak, FH came out on top and was able to put some points on the board to secure the 12-11 victory.
Sophomore Maggie Zorn’s 5 goals of the night contributed big time to the Forest Hills win. The team morale was on point as well, giving them strong heads as they went into the game. The team has worked on a few new plays that they incorporated into Tuesday’s game, which ended up being successful.
Forest Hills varsity water polo will battle Rockford tonight with a home pool advantage. This win moves their conference record up, but if they want to earn the conference title, FH needs to have a big turnaround to give themselves a winning record.
