On Tuesday night, the girls varsity water polo team took on Portage Central at home. Forest Hills got one of their first wins of the season against Portage in grand fashion with a final score of 13-3. 

Goalie Ella Streng was pulled out of goal to play the field a bit and scored two goals for FH. Sophomore Maggie Zorn won all of the sprints of the game, helping Forest Hills to secure the win. There were also some goals scored by some of the girls who haven’t scored as much throughout the season during the game.

Forest Hills water polo takes on powerhouse East Grand Rapids at home tonight. Being their senior night, the players especially hope to get the win tonight and help improve their conference record.
