Freshman volleyball claims victory against Northview 2-0
Yesterday, the freshman girls volleyball team took on OK White conference opponent: the Northview Wildcats. The Rangers used quite the combination of stellar offensive work and some crucial defensive digs to win the game 2-0. The final scores of the sets were 25-20 and 25-13.
There were three notable players in last night’s game, freshmen Kenzie Davis, Kylee Murawski, and Julia Carlson. Kenzie led the team in serves, she had some decent runs of serves that scored major points for FHC. Kylee played a great defensive game and had some key saves that prevented points for Northview. Julia had an impeccable performance on offense putting in killer hits which scored major points for FHC and she also had some unstoppable blocks.
This new win puts the freshman volleyball team with an undefeated and untouchable record of 8-0. The Rangers’ next game will be on Thursday, October 12 at Cedar Springs where they look to continue their perfect record.
