Girls varsity lacrosse struggles against EGR, loses 16-5
Last night, Forest Hills fought out a tough battle on the road against East Grand Rapids. FH went into the game last night with two wins under its belt, with the wins being against Ann Arbor and Carmel. However, the wins from the prior games were, unfortunately for the Rangers, not enough momentum to pull out the win against EGR. Forest Hills eventually fell to the Pioneers 16-5.
The FH offense worked and did what they could. FHC freshman Julia Brown led the night with 2 goals, followed up by FHN senior Molly Mullet, FHE senior Erin Kloostra, and FHE junior Cierra Davis all with 1 goal. Forest Hills struggled on the defensive side, giving up goals to the Pioneers and missing easy opportunities.
Forest Hills aims to defeat multiple opponents at EGR on Saturday, April 20, where they will faceoff against EGR once again.
