Girls varsity lacrosse takes a tough loss to Rockford
On Wednesday, FH took on Rockford—one of the best teams in the state. Sadly, Forest Hills failed to pull ahead and ended up losing the game with a final score of 15-5.
Forest Hills Northern senior Molly Mullet scored 2 crucial goals on the night. Forest Hills Eastern senior Erin Kloostra scored 1, along with Forest Hills Central freshman Julia Brown finding the back of the net herself. Despite some goals being scored early, FH wasn’t able to stop the Ram’ offense and got outscored in the end.
Forest Hills continues to perform well; however, this Rockford game proves that FH needs to put in some more work in order to get further in the conference. The girls will head to Rockford again tomorrow, Saturday, April 27, where they will get a second chance at the 6-time defending State Champion.
