Girls varsity lacrosse goes 1-1 on the weekend
On Saturday, the Forest Hills girls lacrosse team had a tournament at Rockford where it took on a Midwest team from Chicago and Walled Lake high school. In the game against the team from Chicago, New Trier high school, Forest Hills lost 11-10. FHE senior Erin Kloostra had a crucial goal along with FHN senior Molly Mullett and FHC freshman Julia Brown.
In the second game, Forest Hills won 24-0. FHC junior Rachel Nicholson had 4 goals and 10 assists, FHE junior Ella Meloche had 5 goals, FHC junior Bella Piccione had her first goal of the season, and FHN junior Sara Ojala had 2 goals in the game as well.
Forest Hills will play its next game tonight at Grand Rapids Catholic Central, who the girls previously won against earlier this season.
