Girls varsity lacrosse suffers hard loss to EGR 20-13
On Monday, the Forest Hills girls varsity lacrosse team took on the Pioneers of East Grand Rapids at Forest Hills Central. EGR is typically a hard matchup for FH, and this game was no different. Yellow cards were given on slashing penalties, as well as there being dangerous shots throughout the game.
The Forest Hills offense was able to put 13 goals on the board, but that was no match against the 20 goals that EGR scored. Top scorers for the night were Forest Hills Northern senior Molly Mullett with 3 goals, and Forest Hills Central freshman Julia Brown scored 3 on the night as well. The defense lacked some, as it wasn’t able to prevent the Pioneer offense from pulling ahead in the score.
The next game for the ladies will take place on Friday, May 10 at Forest Hills Central. Forest Hills will take on Brighton High School.
