Girls varsity lacrosse finds success against Brighton in 12-6 win

After winning against Grand Rapids Christian last week 14-4, girls varsity lacrosse won against Brighton 12-6 on Senior Night on Friday.

FH worked to get the ball around the field in order to penetrate the defense, and they did just that. Forest Hills Eastern senior, Erin Klosstra led the team in goals with five on the night, Forest Hills Northern senior Molly Mullett followed up with four goals on the night. Both of these girls have been some of the lead scorers throughout the year and have decided to continue playing in college.

The Forest Hills defense was on point as well, only allowing six goals in. The offense picked it up and doubled the score to pull ahead and win. Forest Hills will play tomorrow against Rockford, who is one of the most difficult and competitive teams that the girls will face. The game will be at the Rams home turf.
