Girls varsity lacrosse comes out on top over Cranbrook 14-9

With a combination of both aggressive offense and a tough, stellar defense, the Forest Hills girls varsity lacrosse team was able to pull ahead and win against Cranbrook 14-9 on Saturday. This was the last game before Forest Hills heads to Regionals, so it was crucial that the girls played well in order to generate some momentum.

On offense, Forest Hills Central freshman Julia Brown and Forest Hills Eastern senior Erin Klosstra dominated and attacked the goal constantly throughout the game. Defensively, Forest Hills Northern junior Bridget Baker and Forest Hills Northern junior Emma Cucuru both played hard-nosed defense. They helped keep the ball away from the Forest Hills goal and sent it upfield to their teammates waiting to score.

The next game for Forest Hills will be on Friday in a Regional matchup against Hudsonville.
