How long have you been a part of track and field?

“I have been a part of the track team all four years of high school, and I also ran for two years in middle school.”

Who has been your favorite coach and why?

“Coach Steverson is my favorite coach because he is always pushing us to be our best. He is tough on us but only because he wants us to improve, and I think that it is great that we have a coach who expects nothing but the best from us. “

What is your favorite track memory?

“At the end of each meet, the 4×400 is the last event and is usually the most important. It is really fun when we have the whole team out running with our teammates supporting them.”

Do you have any meet day traditions?

“We don’t really have any large meet traditions, however, we normally warm up as a team and then we go out and compete and separate events. At the very end of the meet, we all watch the 4×400 as a team and run across the field to support our teammates.”

What was something special about this season?

“I was a team captain this year.”
