JV tennis lose final match of the year against rival school Forest Hills Northern
The Rangers faced off at their home courts for their final match of the year against rival school, the Forest Hills Northern huskies. The Rangers lost their match with a tough score of 5-3.
The two players that competed and were the most crucial to the team were juniors Noah Moore and Florence Loewen. They won the top two sets, blowing out their opponents 8-3 in the first, and 8-1 in the second, wiping their opponent and gaining the point for the Rangers.
“We hoped to pull out a win for our last game of the season.” Says sophomore Erik Hansen. “Although we lost our last game, it was still a good, tough game to go out on.” He also proclaims.
The Rangers tennis season is over, and they hope to work hard in the offseason and come back next year with an amazing season, hoping to have a winning record.
