Mackenzie Yob, Staff Writer

Mackenzie is entering her second year on staff. Last year, she wrote a few features but primarily specialized in layout. She is a part of both the varsity basketball team and the varsity soccer team. Mackenzie is also a part of student council and the National Honors Society. Outside of school she is a part of the AAU basketball program Pure Basketball. Mackenzie loves The Central Trend because it allows her to have fun while staying involved in many different aspects of school.

  • Extracurriculars/Sports: Basketball, soccer, student council, National Honors Society
  • Hobbies/Interests: Watching sports and participating in them, hanging with friends, going to the cottage, Netflix

  • If it is Friday night, you will most likely find Mackenzie: Playing for the girls basketball team or in the student section for football
