Whether it’s brushing your teeth or putting on a full face of makeup before school, everyone has a beauty routine that signifies their morning. Personally, I take my beauty and all my products very seriously. It’s a way of self-care, so after many experiments and testing into different brands, I’m here to break down my guide to feeling your best while looking your best with all of these products.

Personally, I take my beauty and all my products very seriously. It’s a way of self-care, so after many experiments and testing into different brands, I’m here to break down my guide to feeling your best while looking your best with all of these products.

Olaplex. The guardian angel of all hair care issues. This 3.3-ounce hair care product will run you about $30 per container. Although expensive, I’ve never heard a single complaint from others I know who use it. The brand has different formulas targeted for different hair types to help strengthen and replenish your hair, leaving it healthy and smooth. I’m no stranger to damaged hair, considering I’ve basically fried my natural curls by straightening them every day, not to mention, the bleach I’ve drenched my hair in over the years, but once this product made its way into my haircare routine, I’ve never looked back.

Tarte Cosmetics is, no doubt, a staple in the beauty industry among many. Whether it’s their famous foundations or lip products, this company has reigned superior time after time again. But there’s one product that has remained in popularity over the years that I use religiously: it’s concealer. Tarte’s concealer has a medium coverage base that covers up blemishes or any insecurity one might have while leaving you with a dewy, natural look, that makes the skin look doll-like. I’ve been using it since middle school, and it’s been a perfect substitute for foundation which I’m not a huge fan of wearing like many others.

Hygiene is a big factor when it comes to my beauty routine. Whether it’s just a night in watching Netflix or a dinner with my friends, I’ll always find myself reaching for Tree Hut’s body scrubs. Retailing for $8 a bottle, this sweet-smelling body scrub exfoliates and leaves you smelling like wonders. My personal favorite is Moroccan rose, but the company has many other signature smells to please any kind of user.

If my house was on fire, one beauty product I’d save is Falscara by Kiss. Like many other girls I’ve talked to, the hassle of keeping lash extensions filled and clean can be a pain, but these natural single lashes take the annoyance away. You simply glue on four tiny strip lashes to achieve the eyelash extension look. This is a staple for my everyday glam, considering I love the look of long yet natural eyelashes and these help me achieve the look perfectly.

Staying on the subject of eyelashes, which I take very seriously, my eyelashes tend to be damaged from the makeup I wear on a day-to-day basis until I found GrandeLASH serum. This serum seriously changed my life and grows your lashes effectively, unlike some other drugstore brands that claim to do the same. Retailing at $68 a tube, it sure isn’t a cheap product, but the quality and effectiveness makes every penny count.

With the dry winter air approaching rapidly, I find myself getting more and more excited to use my products effectively, even if I am half asleep doing my makeup for school, so stay beautiful inside and out, FHC.
