“I just moved here the summer before my freshman year, so I’ve only been here for high school. I’m going into my junior year, [and] I’m on the swim and water polo team. Having the swim team was probably one of the best things about moving here because it started before school started. So going into freshman year, I didn’t have any friends or anyone else that I knew; everyone else at this school had their own group of friends that they knew. So having the swim team was really good for me because it was a group of people that I just connected with immediately.”
