JV girls golf succeeds in another tournament placing second overall

After a week of no golf, the girls on the JV golf team looked forward to their match last night. It would be the last match for some, but for others, as they have a makeup match tonight at Cedar Springs due to a heat delay last week. Yesterday at Grace Will course, Kenowa Hills’ home course, the Rangers placed second overall. Since this was the last match of a lot of their seasons, many of them were excited to play in it. Everyone got to play in the match yesterday with freshman Lauren Coe saying that they had a ton of success as a whole. A lot of the shots were straighter and farther, showing the work that they’ve put in all year. Lauren scored a 57, and sophomore Mandy Ehrlich scored a 44.

In today’s match, there are about six girls participating to make up for that delay. The girls that are playing are really looking forward to one last match. What they are looking for today is how much the team has improved this whole season and then individually. For the girls that are playing next year, they look to improve all of their skills during the offseason and they all hope to my varsity.
