The Forest Hills gymnastics team sent a full lineup to the Regional Meet on Saturday to compete. Overall, the gymnasts were able to perform very well but secured second place, behind the very talented Rockford Rams.

Senior Hannah Kuhlmann led her team by placing in both the vault and floor events. Junior Maheen Mulligan then earned 8.5’s on both the floor and beam events. Sophomore Hannah Walters also continued to perform well across the board, as she secured an 8.9 on floor, an 8.325 on vault, and an 8.7 on beam. Sophomores Olivia Jeong and Veronica Wagner also qualified for and competed in the Regional Meet.

The Forest Hills gymnastics team has performed well all year long and have earned places in both the Individual and Team State Meets this weekend. Rockford has won States three years in a row, but the Rangers are confident that they will perform well at this high-stakes meet.
