Girls varsity soccer pick up another 2-0 win against the Red Hawks
The Ranger girls varsity soccer team defeated the Cedar Springs Red Hawks last Friday 2-0 to secure another conference win.
The Ranger goal scorers of the night were seniors Ali Czarnecki and Hannah Bowling. Ali finished off of a great corner kick played by Hannah. Hannah scored on a shot around the six yard line. Other star players of the night was junior Chloe Grooters and freshman Autumn Burns. Chloe and Autumn worked together in the back line to stop all Red Hawk forwards from getting past them. Another player that had a successful game was freshman Whitney Currie, who used her speed to beat other players and get up the line while she was playing outside defense.
The Rangers face off against the Grand Haven Buccaneers at Grand Haven High School tonight. Their new record is 8-1 and they are looking to continue their winning streak with another win tonight.
