OK White Conference Rundown

Lowell Red Arrows 5-0 (2-0)

The Red Arrows come into this week with five straight victories, after falling just short in last year’s state final on a last-second hail mary to Detroit Martin Luther King. They face conference opponent Cedar Springs this week at home. The Red Arrows have had a high powered offense, scoring 30+ points in four out of their five games. They also look to secure a playoff spot at six wins.

Cedar Springs Red Hawks 3-2 (2-0)

After a brutal bashing last week at home vs. Grand Rapids Christian, 41-16, the Red Hawks look to bounce back against Lowell to try and take control at the top of the OK White. The Red Hawks have proven to crumble in games against big opponents, while getting wins against smaller and less powerful teams.

Forest Hills Northern Huskies 3-2 (2-0)

The Huskies come into this week filled with momentum following 3 straight victories. Despite a tough start, the Huskies have a last second win and a blowout coming into this week at 5/3 Ballpark vs. FHC. FHN has had no trouble putting up points on the board; however, the defense has been another story. They also look to win for a piece of the OK White lead.

Forest Hills Central Rangers 4-1 (2-1)

The Rangers come off of a big win against the Northview Wildcats. The Ranger defense has been able to hold opponents to 14 points or less in four out of five games. The Ranger defense will be seriously challenged on Friday night playing the high scoring offense of FHN. They look to improve to 3-1 in the conference and stay in contention for a title.

Greenville Yellow Jackets 3-2 (1-2)

Greenville has had a roller coaster ride of a season, scoring a combined 70 points in weeks one and two, and just 3 points in week three. The Yellow Jackets have one conference win which came against the Rangers, but fell to Lowell and Cedar Springs. Greenville looks for a big win against a struggling Ottawa Hills team Friday night.

Northview Wildcats 0-5 (0-3)

The Wildcats have been on many levels of bad, seeming to drop lower and lower each week. The offense averages about 13 points a game while the defense averages about 39 given up. Northview looks for its first win of the season as they march into 4-1 Hudsonville for a non-conference battle.

Ottawa Hills Bengals 0-5 (0-3)

Like Northview, Ottawa Hills has struggled immensely throughout their season to produce offensively. They average a mere 8 points a game. They look to pick up their broken season at home against the Greenville Yellow Jackets.
