College Football Week 4 Predictions by FHC Report Staff

  • Mississippi State vs Georgia

    • This is a big time SEC match up between number 11 Georgia and number 17 Mississippi State. Mississippi state is visiting one of the most hostile environments in the country with hopes of staying undefeated. While Georgia is trying to protect their home turf and staying undefeated. The running of Heisman candidate Nick Chubb is gonna be a test for the Mississippi State defense and the passing of Mississippi State is going to be a big challenge for the home team. I think because of home field advantage the Georgia teams comes out on top in a close game.

  • Predictions

  • Jacob- 28-24 Georgia
  • Nick- 28-24 Mississippi State
  • Tobey- MSU 29-17
  • Jessica-28-21 Georgia
  • Tommy- 21-17 Georgia

  1. Penn State vs Iowa
  • This game could pose a potential threat for the Nittany Lions. It is a road game at a very hostile stadium. It is the same stadium Michigan lost at last year when they were hopeful for the playoffs. Even with Penn State’s stellar offense and heisman hopeful, Saquon Barkley, the crowd may just be to overwhelming.

Predictions

  • Nick-38 – 35 PSU
  • Tommy- 42-21 Penn State
  • Jessica – 28-21 Penn State
  • Tobey- 17-14 Iowa
  • Jacob- 42-30 Penn State

  1. Michigan vs Purdue

Michigan is coming off of a rough game against Air Force while Purdue absolutely demolished Missouri 35-3. Michigan and Wilton Speight have not been able to produce offense lately so their defense is really going to have to step it up if they do not want to get upset. This game is a major upset alert, Purdue has a high powered offense behind David Blough and don’t be surprised to see Michigan leaving Ross-Ade stadium with a loss

Predictions:

Tobey- Michigan 28-20

Tommy- 20-10 Michigan

Nick- 27-24 Purdue

Jake- Michigan 17-14

Jessica- 21-14 Michigan

  1. Michigan State vs. Notre Dame:

This Saturday, the number 18 Notre Dame Fighting Irish will compete against number 12 Michigan State Spartans for the first time since 2013. Going into the game, Notre Dame knows they have little room for errors, if so they will ruin their chance to make it to playoffs. Knowing of Notre Dame’s weak defense, Michigan State is hoping to take advantage of the game and keep the Fighting Irish to few field goals. Despite what Notre Dame is on the line for, they are coming into the game aggressive and ready to battle.

Predictions:

Jessica – 28-21 MSU

Tommy- Notre Dame 35-10

Tobey- Notre dame 42-3

Nick- MSU 35-28

Jake- Michigan State 18-16

  1. UCLA vs Stanford
  • This matchup of Northern and Southern California could be the battle of two teams trying to compete for an opportunity at the Pac-12 Championship, and to go to the Rose Bowl against the Big 10 champion in Pasadena. Although, both these teams are coming off upset losses. UCLA lost to Memphis as Memphis QB Riley Ferguson throws for 6 touchdowns. Stanford got upset by the San Diego State Aztecs 17-20. It will be interesting how these two teams respond to their losses.-

Predictions

  • Tommy- 27-24 UCLA
  • Nick- 34-17 Stanford
  • Jacob- 24-20 Stanford
  • Jessica-21-14 UCLA
  • Tobey- 13-10 Ucla
