Varsity baseball wins 10-0 over Greenville

The varsity baseball team made up a cancelled conference game against Greenville last night and easily completed the season sweep of the Yellow Jackets with a 10-0 win in 5 innings.

Senior Nate Doolittle took the mound for FHC to strike out 5, allow 4 hits, and complete a shutout. The Rangers played an errorless game, with senior Michael Peliotis having a perfect fielding game with the most chances on the team.

The Rangers came out with the bats from the start to score 3 in the first, followed by runs in every consecutive inning. Senior Johnny Irish doubled in the first to drive in the first run. FHC totalled 12 hits, led by seniors Jake Heilman and Matt Candela and junior Adam Tellier racking up multiple hits. Matt led the team in RBIs with 2, while Adam added a triple to the high-producing offense.

FHC moves to 9-4 (8-3) as they take on Ottawa Hills in a conference series next week. The Rangers are favored to sweep the Bengals.
