Freshman volleyball wins against Cedar Springs 2-0

Last night, the Forest Hills Central freshman volleyball team took on Cedar Springs and came out victorious with a 2-0 win. The first set was a bit of a struggle for FHC, as the score was only 7 points apart, which was a dangerous point gap for this Ranger team.  The first set had a final score of 25-17. The second set was much better with a 15 point gap and a final score of 25-10.

Freshman Sammie Wing was a major part of the unstoppable offense during the game. She had a great run of serves that helped secure the win for FHC. The defense was on par as well, as they had good digs which prevented points for Cedar Springs.

The Rangers will play their next game on Thursday, September 20 at Ottawa Hills. Their current record is still very good, as they sit at 3-0. If FHC wins this next one, they’ll be in the fast lane to winning the OK White.
