Freshman volleyball dominates against Ottawa Hills 2-0

Yesterday, the freshman volleyball team took on the Bengals of Ottawa Hills. FHC came out on top and won the game 2-0. The Rangers started off very strong, coming out with quick and effective runs of serves. FHC won the first set 25-16. The second set went much faster for the Rangers, with more major serving runs, and they won the set 25-8.

Freshmen Julia Carlson and Sophia Galan were the notable servers of last night’s game. Both of the girls had efficient runs of serves that moved the Rangers up on the scoreboard and made the score-gap much larger. The defense didn’t see much action because of the dominating offense of FHC, as the ball was immediately passed over to the Ottawa Hills side most of the time and many points were scored.

The Rangers now hold a conference record of 10-0. They look to take on Lowell on Thursday at FHC’s home court.
