Last year, the boys swim and dive team took second in the Cereal Bowl Relays by falling short to the Ann Arbor Pioneers 382-373. Unfortunately, the Rangers once again came in second behind the Ann Arbor Pioneers 402-345 this year.

The swimmers were led by sophomore Avery LeTourneau and junior CJ Hier. Avery was a part of three relays that captured three event titles. He swam in the 400-yard Freestyle Relay, 200-yard Butterfly Relay, and the 200-yard Freestyle Relay. Along with Avery, CJ was a part of the 200-yard Butterfly Relay. Senior co-captain Henry Schutte was able to break the pool record in the 50-yard Freestyle and the 100-yard Freestyle. The divers were led by senior Ryan Talbot, who was able to place second.

The Rangers were able to present a strong front in their first meet of the season. This relay does not count towards the Rangers’ OK White conference record. On Thursday, FHC will take on East Kentwood in their first conference meet at home.
