What is your goal for the season?

“My goal for the season is to simply swim faster. My plan to swim faster is to attend all of the practices and try my hardest when I’m racing.”

What is your favorite part about the team?

“My favorite part about the team is how everyone is kind and compassionate. The team is always super nice to everyone and includes everyone.”

What is an upperclassman that you look up to?

“I look up to swimmers like senior Henry Schutte. He is the fastest on the team, and I aspire to be as fast as him and break records like he does.”

How has your first year in a high school sport been?

“It’s been really fun. This season has progressively gotten harder, and it is a lot different than my other teams. This team is nicer than my other team, and they always include everyone; overall, it is just a different atmosphere.”

Who has been the biggest inspiration in your swimming career?

“My parents have definitely been my biggest inspiration. They push me to keep on swimming and to keep trying my best.”
