Girls JV golf improves first place finish streak to 4 at Boulder Creek

Yesterday afternoon, the Girls JV golf team competed in another conference jamboree at Northview’s Boulder Creek. The Rangers placed first, winning by 5 strokes, with a total team score of 192. Forest Hills Northern placed second, shooting a 197, followed by Lowell in third with a score of 202.

Sophomore Lexi Schnelker led the Rangers shooting a 46. Closely behind, sophomore Alyssa Cheslek and freshman Serena Thiede shot a 48. Finishing next for the Rangers was sophomore Bella Beckering who shot a 50 and Ashley Yarnell with a 53. 

The Northview Jamboree marks the 4th consecutive win for the Girls JV Golf team. The Rangers play next on Thursday, September 19th at the Forest Hills Ryder Cup at Indian Trails.
