The Central Trend

Payton Vincent

Payton Vincent, Staff Writer

Payton is a senior returning for her second year on The Central Trend. When she is not writing stories, you can find her at a coffee shop with a book and an iced caramel latte. She enjoys listening to music, traveling, and spending time with the people she loves. Payton is thrilled to be spending her last year of high school in room 139 once again.

Comfort TV shows: Gilmore Girls and Glee

Favorite feelings: Listening to One Direction in her best friend’s Jeep in the summer, people watching while studying in coffee shops, making Spotify playlist, forcing her friends to go to the beach with her, finding a book you can’t put down, late night talks at a friends house, going to breakfast after a sleepover, receiving physical notes from loved ones, waking up with the sun, and drinking strawberry lemonade on a humid day.

Starbucks order: Iced Pistachio Latte! It’s back!

Do you ever stop and think about me?

Payton Vincent, Staff Writer May 2, 2023

I love Taylor Swift. You do too. It was something we bonded over for a while, except when we would disagree on which album was best; you would say Speak Now, I always said 1989, no one argues against...

A collection of a few notes, photos, and envelopes that bring joy to my day-to-day life

My life is written in love letters

Payton Vincent, Staff Writer March 3, 2023

I have never truly understood the significance of a love letter. Maybe it’s because I’ve never received one, or if I did, I never considered it a love letter. Through media, I created this concept...
